By creating an account or using Scanvas you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Scanvas lets you generate static and dynamic QR codes and view analytics for dynamic codes. Static codes work independently; dynamic codes rely on our redirect service to function.

2. Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
• One person or organisation per account; provide accurate information.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Scanvas to create codes that point to or facilitate:

• Phishing, scams, malware, or anything deceptive or fraudulent
• Illegal content, or content that infringes others' rights
• Harassment, hate, or harm to others

We may disable codes or accounts that violate this, without notice.

4. Dynamic codes & availability

Dynamic codes depend on our servers being online to redirect scans. We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" with no guaranteed uptime. If your account or a code is removed, its dynamic codes will stop redirecting.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content and destinations you create. You grant us the limited right to store and serve it so the service can function.

6. No warranty & liability

Scanvas is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for losses arising from codes that fail to scan, redirect incorrectly, or go offline.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
